Asia University will implement the Roommate Living Agreement on a trial basis during the 114-2 semester.
All dormitory residents are kindly requested to cooperate with this initiative.
The purpose of this policy is to assist roommates in establishing mutually agreed-upon living guidelines. This agreement does not replace existing Asia University Student Dormitory regulations, but instead serves as a supplementary framework addressing day-to-day living details. The goal is to reduce conflicts, enhance living quality, and protect the rights and interests of all residents.
The Housing Services Section has prepared a recommended template for the Roommate Living Agreement, which covers fundamental aspects such as daily routines, cleanliness, noise control, visitor policies, and the use of shared spaces. Flexible sections are included to allow each room to add additional agreements based on actual living needs, subject to discussion and consensus among all roommates.
Each room unit is required to discuss and complete its Roommate Living Agreement
within four (4) weeks after move-in, ensuring a shared understanding and compliance among roommates.
The original signed copy of the Roommate Living Agreement shall be collected by the floor leader and submitted to the dormitory counter for record-keeping. Residents are advised to take photos and retain a personal copy for future reference.
We sincerely ask for the cooperation of all dormitory residents in implementing this policy and working together to create a respectful, friendly, and comfortable living environment.
