Paederus beetles contain irritating toxins. Do NOT slap or crush them with your bare hands.
Crushing the insect may cause skin redness, blisters, or dermatitis.
If contact occurs: Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Seek medical attention if symptoms develop
