112-3 Winter Vacation Housing Application Announcement (2023/12/07 Update)

According to the "Asia University Winter/Summer Vacation Student Accommodation Rules", the dormitory will be closed during the winter/summer vacations for dormitory cleaning, disinfection, equipment maintenance, etc. Accommodation for residents and camps during the winter/summer vacation will only be provided if there is spare capacity.

1. Before applying, please carefully evaluate your "adaptability to group living" and "health condition suitable for housing", be sure to read carefully read and confirm that you can abide by the "Asia University Guidelines for Student Accommodation Application and Management", "Asia University Guidelines for Dormitory Living Norms and Implementation" and "Consent for Housing" to avoid interfering with others housing rights or losing your own property.

2. !! Attention !!, No refunds will be made after payment of the Housing fees. Please be sure to consider your housing needs carefully before applying.

are required to attach appropriate certificates to their applications.
Only Overseas students who have been approved by the school and have housing for the 112-2 academic year are eligible to apply for Chinese Lunar New Year housing. Be sure to register with the International College.
Application period 2023/12/06(Wed.)~12/20(Wed.) 17:00, no application beyond the deadline.
Bedroom announcement 2024/01/11 (Thu.) 17:00.
Open dormitory Gratitude Hall (with bathroom) Summit Hall (without bathroom)
Housing period 2024/01/13(Sat.) 12:00~02/07(Wed.) 12:00, 26 days 25 night. 2024/02/07(Wed.) 12:00~02/15(Thu.) 12:00, 9 days 8 night.
Check-in time After 2024/01/13(Sat.) 12:00 and receive the key after 17:00. After 2024/02/07(Wed.) 12:00.
Other notes (1) There is no baggage area for Winter(Summer) vacation housing students.
(2) If you didn't apply for Chinese Lunar New Year Vacation Housing, 112-2 dorm open date is 2024/02/17(Sat.) 08:00, early check-in is not possible.

Housing Services Section website→Form Download→Print ”Asia University Winter/Summer Vacation Registration/Withdrawal Application Form” (Print on both sides, only version 202312 will be accepted.)
※Those who need to live together must submit the application form at the same time. If not, the Dorm Section will arrange the beds directly.
Fees

Deposit
Confirm the date of stay and come to the Housing Services Section to check the Housing fees.
Housing fee
(1) General Residential Students:NT$150 per night.
(2) If you are a campus Internship/Independent Study/Research Approval student, the housing fee will be reduced to NT$75 per night after obtaining the stamped certificate on the back of the application form.

Housing Deposit:NT$500 each person.
Payment
Method
A. Machine Payment: Payment should be made at the automated payment machine located in the Administration Building. Please note that the Accommodation Fee and the Deposit are two different options, and the overpayment will not be refunded.

B. Bank Transfer: Single transfer payment of housing fee and deposit, overpayment is not refundable.
“Name of Bank: Cathay United Bank Nantou Branch; Account Name: Asia University; Payment account (total 14 codes): 88750 + student ID number. Transfer Channels: (1) ATM: Bank Code 013; (2) Interbank Remittance; (3) Cathay United Bank Counter Payment (fill in deposit slip)”
Payment Certificate When you pay the housing fee and deposit, you will receive four receipts from the automated payment machine, or you will receive the payment document by the bank transfer; it is important to keep the above payment details.

First, upload the payment picture to the QR code through the application form.
Second, submit the application form to the Housing Services Section. Your application is considered complete.
Deposit
Refund
Deposit Refund will be made after the start of the 112-2 semester, and will be remitted to your bank account number registered with the Cashier Section of the General Affairs Office, and are expected to be available one month after the start of the semester.

If you are leaving Taiwan due to graduation, please come to the Housing Services Section during the school's office hours before you leave Taiwan to get your deposit refund.

If you are not graduating but do not have a bank account, please come to the Housing Services Section’s Office during the school's office hours after check-out to get your deposit refund, if the deposit is not collected within the first week of the new semester, the deposit will not be refunded.

No refunds will be made for failure to comply with the dormitory checkout procedures, damage to the dormitory equipment, or failure to clean.
